The triangle of life... mind...body...soul...

“Until you value yourself, you won't value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.”   - M. Scott Peck

I can’t hardly stress it enough, but the most important commodity that one has is “TIME!”   In this world, my mother has professed many teachings to my brothers and I, but one of the most important concepts that we have ever carried from our youth to the present time, would have to be the famous principle of the "Triangle of Life." Growing up, my mother would always profess about the famous triangle.  In Geometry, a triangle is one of the basic shapes, with three corners or vertices.  It is governed by the law of three, and without one corner, it destroys its basic geometric shape or identity.  Therefore, the triangle of life has the same concept, but its three vertices or corners are;

MIND
BODY
SOUL

In the bible, the body is always stressed to be a temple, and the same concept applies to the triangle of life.  Like M. Scott Peck states, “UNTIL YOU VALUE YOURSELF, YOU WONT VALUE YOUR TIME!”

Furthermore, if we use the triangle of life to discipline are “TEMPLE”, we are that much closer to reaching are inner peace.  The key to life is “Balance”, therefore you have to be able to find its equilibrium by paying attention to its desires.  Just like a Rolls Royce, your mind, body, and soul need daily tune ups.  For example; your mind needs daily enrichment via new knowledge and learning.  Your body needs energy via a healthy (working out, eating right) and abundant lifestyle.  Last but not least, your soul needs nourishment through prayer and meditation.

For most, procrastination is the ultimate reward, but in essence it is the ultimate sin. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it, and in order to escape its deadly trap, you have to respect the most important person in your life, YOURSELF!

In conclusion, stop procrastinating, WAKE UP EARLIER and GO TO SLEEP LATER, for time is not on your side!  The body knows this, and will let you know how much ample time you need to run its motors.  Therefore, test your body, mind and soul to its limits.  Because when you do, the only variable stopping you is time!  Vereour Nasquam ...

It’s more than a Pro Biotic & Qore System, it’s a movement!...

“It’s more than a Pro Biotic & Qore System, it’s a movement!”

Follow Us: @QivanaMovement

In life and in business, one must train their brain to foresee what others cannot see! Even during trying economic times like today, where there seems like there is no opportunity or hope at all…. The fact of the matter is….THAT THERE IS!  In essence, the key to it all is VISION!

As I personally grow to become the entrepreneur that I dreamed to emulate as a youngster, I’ve realized that the key to success is just learning to play the simple game of probability. Brian Tracey, a motivational speaker, once quoted, “More than 90% of businesses succeed in an area where it is totally different from which it started.”  Therefore, by using probability, it is safe to state that if you keep on knocking on the doors of success, one is bound to open!

Which leads me to the following new project…   www.QivanaMovement.com

In life I have been blessed to meet some great moguls and AJ Monte is one of them… Please feel free to read his bio on Wikipedia..(  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJ_Monte )    As I am humbled and honored to have such a man consider me to be part of such a movement, that I could not resist the temptation.

In business, you have to learn to catch a product of this magnitude during its introductory stages of the product life cycle.  This basic strategy, compounded with a sound business model and credible top management, only makes this company a contender in the health and wellness industry
.   … Please feel free to read the following executive team bios: http://qivanamovement.myqivana.com/company/team.html

Now the question you may be asking is….. What is Qivana?

Qivana is unique in the industry with the approach to product development. The Qivana founders, in conjunction with world-renown naturopathic physician Dr. Marcus Laux, developed a philosophy that the best approach to physical improvement, core balance and core strength is to utilize multiple products in a systematic approach. It’s a system that not only promotes improved health, but it also promotes long-term activity in our Independent Business Owners and customers alike.

We have scoured the earth to find powerful, time-tested ingredients that will deliver the benefits you need. Alone, each ingredient is impressive. But taken together in a synergistic system that complements each product's attributes, they are nothing short of remarkable.

Qivana’s QORE™ System is a practical health regimen created with world-class natural products. The system follows a very simple 3-step philosophy—Stabilize, Vitalize, and Optimize.

The funny parable about life is that when one door opens a domino effect begins to take place. Opportunities then tend to open, one after another, after another, after another! The key to it all is to train your brain to understand this analogy and calculate RISK! But don’t ponder upon the opportunity to much that you tend to talk yourself out of it. Because if you do not pull the trigger soon enough, it might just disappear.

This negative rationality, might compound into a negative domino effect, and if it does. Life will take those opportunities away from you, one after another! In life, sometimes you just have to learn to pull the trigger, because if you don’t, someone else will come along and pull it for you!

In conclusion, I hate to EXCLAIM THIS! But for the everyday middle class American, this economy is not going to get any better! Not now, a year from now, or even 3-5 years from now! I have been studying the fundamentals, and deep inside I PRAY TO GOD that I’m wrong! The good news is that, through hard work, opportunities WILL OPEN UP! If you can train your brain to see what others cannot see, you will notice them. Now it’s time for you to make the decision to capitalize on them!

Ladies and gentlemen….  “It’s more than a Pro Biotic & Qore System, it’s a movement!”

10 Quotes and Phrases to live by... written by Sun Tzu - The Art of War...

The Art of War was written sometime in the 6th century BC. by Chinese General and military strategist SunTzu.  This is one of the most influential ancient books on military strategy and writes the code for the art of governing men in combat...business....and life.

"The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected"

"If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected."

"Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys.  Look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death!"

"The general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can foresee who is likely to w in or lose."

"He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight. He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces. He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks. He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared. He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign."

"Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high places and hastens downwards... Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing. Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape, so in warfare there are no constant conditions. He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven-born captain."

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete."

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete."

"Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated."

"Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat."

Warren Buffet's words of wisdom...

“The chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.” – Warren Buffet

An excerpt from the book “The Tao of Warren Buffet”  written by America’s favorite businessman that reveals one of his many secrets of success…

This is Warren quoting the English philosopher Bertrand Russell, because his words so aptly describe the insidious nature of bad business habits that don’t become apparent until it is too late.  Such as cost cutting after your business is in trouble, which should have been done long before you even got to the doorsteps of danger.  The business that becomes bloated with unnecessary expenses in times of plenty is the business that will sink when things turn for the worse.  This propensity to delude oneself also tells you a lot about the management that let the business become bloated with expenses in the first place.  It is best to consciously check where all your habits are taking you long before you get there.  If you don’t like the direction in which you are headed, the time to change course is before you find your ship sinking the a sea of troubles.

This is what happened to Warren with the Benjamin Graham inspired investment strategy of buying bargain stocks that were selling below book value regardless of the nature of the company’s long term economics.  This was something Warren was able to do with great success during the 1950’s and early 1960’s.  But he stayed with this approach long after it wasn’t viable anymore – the chains of habit were too light to be felt.  When he finally woke in the late 1970's to the fact that the Graham bargain ride was over, he shifted over to a strategy of buying exceptional business at reasonable prices and then holding them for long periods- thereby letting the business grow in value.  With the old strategy he made millions, but with the new one he made billions.

Difficult takes a day...impossible takes a week...

“Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week!” -Jay Z aka.. Shawn Carter

If I had to compare myself to a musical artist, it would definitely have to be Shawn Carter, or the man known as JAY Z. Shawn is a man that turned his visions and dreams into a reality. With persistence, perseverance, and a little leverage, he became a success to contend with.

For all those that don’t know his story, let me recollect. Shawn Carter, or Jay Z, was born in Brooklyn and was raised in the Marcy Housing projects of Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn. Shawn came from a very humble foundation, and because of that, he was forced to work for his paper. At a young age, the street life was his battle field, and his lyrics were his ways of dealing with the pain and struggle that we call life. The streets formulated his business thought process and philosophies, and from then on he used his new innovative style of thinking to capitalize on all of its opportunities.

From the beginning of his young recording career, NO LABEL WOULD GIVE HIM THE LIGHT OF DAY. When no major label would give him a record deal, he decided to team up with his colleagues Kareem Biggs and Dame Dash, to form the DYNASTY known as Roc-A-Fella Records.

Instead of accepting the hand that life dealt him, Jay-Z changed his cards! He did this by leveraging his strengths with his new team, and in doing so, Roc-A-Fella became an EMPIRE!

In conclusion, as I was listening to my daily Jay-Z session @ the gym on my iPod, I could not help on realizing how much I love HIP HOP! “Difficult takes a day, and impossible takes a week!” For most, dreams and visions never become goals, therefore they are never accomplished. The last year has been a very memorable year for me. God has surrounded me with an amazing group of individuals, and in doing so, I have had the chance to capitalize on all their strengths. As leverage is the key to creating future fortunes, and with the right group of teammates on the field, and on the bench, your goals will only take a day to accomplish, and the IMPOSSIBLE may only take a week!

Which leads me to the following lyrics from the song, “Diamonds are forever”…. as stated before, as I was at the gym training blasting my iPod, I had the following song playing by Kanye West.  Jay Z’s Lyrics on the following song were so powerful, that I had to use it on the following post… Well ladies and gentlemen, here it is…… enjoy… IT’S THE ROC!!........

Yep!
I got it from here 'ye damn!

The chain remains, the game is in tact
The name is mine, I'll take blame for that

The pressure's on, but guess who isn’t gon' crack? [laughs]
Pardon me I had to laugh at that

How could you falter when you're the rock of Gibraltar
I had to get of the boat so I could walk on water

This ain't no tall order, this is nothing to me
Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week

I do this in my sleep,
I sold Kilos of coke, (so?) I'm guessing' I can sell CD's

I'm not a businessman, I'm a BUSINESS, mannnn
So, Let me handle my BUSINESS, damn!

Kanyeez you got me, Freeway and Foxy
YG', Teairra Mari, Petey watch me

Bleek could be one hit away his whole career
As long as I'm alive, he's a millionaire
And even if I die, he's in my will somewhere
So he can just kick back and chill somewhere, oh yeah

He don't even have to write rhymes
The Dynasty like my money last three lifetimes

Shirley Bassey was in the rear saying exactly
What I was saying practically my whole career

The diamond is forever, I been minding' this forever
Now the Louis Vuitton Don's timing' couldn't be better

People lined up to see the Titanic sinking'
Instead we rose from the ash like a phoenix
If you waiting' for the end, the dynasty signed
And what seemed like forever is a mighty long time

I'm young bitches [laughs]
Goodnight!
