A persons flight through life.. inspired by my little brother Johann...

“A Man’s flight through life is sustained by the Power of His Knowledge. I take this to heart because I have realized that money and power can be given and taken in this world and the only thing that identifies who a man truly is is his knowledge.“-  (My little brother) Captain Johann Pambianchi USAF

This is truly an amazing statement, and it is quoted by none other than my little brother Johann, who happens to be a Captain in the United States Air Force. A persons flight through life is definitely sustained by the power of his knowledge. My mother deeply stressed that throughout our childhood, along with the fact that SHE WOULD KILL US IF WE DID NOT GO TO COLLEGE! As I look back and laugh at the many life lessons Mother beat into us during our childhood, I thank God everyday that she did. For it is those light smacks on the butt, that have made my brothers and I the MEN we are today! “Through pain and suffering strives discipline”, and I am reminded of that every time I’m with my mother. For the success that my brothers and I have today is inspired by the strength and courage of our mother.

For all those that know my mother, know that she defies the archetype of how a woman should undeniably take care for and nurture for one’s family. Despite the great pains and infinite sacrifices that she battled with, her will to raise spiritual, courageous, intelligent, HANDSOME, and gracious men has put her on an untouchable pedestal. Our daily conversations may seem as simple, pleasant, and monotonous, yet they give me continual renewed strength to carry on God’s will for me. I could not begin to illustrate the love I have for her, but to show it through my actions and accomplishments.

Now let’s not take any credit from our father. Some may call my father a simple man, supporting and raising an average family, this is everything but the truth. My father is a man of overwhelming knowledge and incredible love which is evident in everything he wraps his mind around. He is extremely selfless and sacrificing, and my brothers and I wish that God could bless us with half of his fatherly skills, so that are children could grow up with the same love he has bestowed on my brothers and especially me.

Furthermore, Money and Power can be given and taken away in the blink of an eye! But no one, I mean NO ONE! Can take your WISDOM! For it is your own knowledge that creates and builds the re-occurring Monetary Empires of life! Trust me, LIFE WILL TEST YOU! Just when you think you are invincible, life will come along and take it all away! It is then, when you have to look deep inside yourself and start over.  It is then when your faith along with your vision will compound with your ambition and in time you will reap the rewards of success.  That is the game we call life my friends.  So get to it....

In conclusion, I definitely take this posting to heart, for I have realized that money and power can be given and taken in this world, and the only thing that identifies who a man truly is, is his knowledge! And in business, “Knowledge gives you Vision, and through vision you gain the ability to spot economic problems, and turn them into economic opportunities!"  Vereour Nasquam

The Bhagavad Gita: Krishna’s Counsel In Time Of War...

"When dark inertia increases, obscurity and inactivity, negligence and delusion, arise.  When lucidity prevails, the self whose body dies enters the untainted worlds of those who know reality.  When he dies in passion, he is born among lovers of action; so when he dies in dark inertia, he is born into wombs of folly.  The fruit of good conduct is pure and untainted they say, but suffering is the fruit of passion, ignorance the fruit of dark inertia.  From lucidity knowledge is born; from passion comes greed; from dark inertia comes negligence, delusion, and ignorance.  Men who are lucid go upward; men of passion stay in between; men of dark inertia, caught in vile ways, sink low."   –The Bhagavad Gita: Krishna’s Counsel In Time Of War.

The Bhagavad-Gita is a 700 verse Hindu Scripture that was composed in the first century AD. The story focuses on a young soldier, Arjuna, who is attempting to determine the purpose of war and life and death. The God Krishna appears to Arjuna and assists Arjuna in understanding his place in the world. This reading helps reiterate the fact that it is important to have great mentors.  As teachings from a master to apprentice help bring the understanding of “Moksha”…also known as spiritual enlightenment. This reading vastly resembles the Old Testament of the Bible. Beyond the spirituality, it is really an entertaining and beautiful lyrical poem that helps explore the ideology of oneself in combat and in life! You should definitely take the time to pick it up...

When i was 5 years old my mother told me...

Life is about dreaming the amazing and achieving the impossible. We all have dreams, but only a small percentage of us take on the initiative towards achieving them. Most of us see the trophy, but do not have the will power and discipline to play the whole season. Life is about taking as many punches as you can. You will definitely get knocked out... Trust me... I have personally been knocked out several times... But that is why most of my own colleagues like to refer me as, the "Teflon Kid!"

Take it from me; the path you take on achieving your goals (dreams) will miraculously get you to your destination. I know that the road can sometimes be covered in fog and the car you are driving happens to have a flat tire, and you may sometimes run out of gas... but hey that's life... That is life's way of keeping you humble.  But in time, with perseverance, and dedication... the road your on, will lead you towards your destination.

In business and in life, it is either ALL OR NOTHING!  There is no room for error, and all decisions need to be calculated with extreme precision. Time is definitely our most precious commodity and for some of us, the clock is almost done ticking.  That’s why you have to treat every second of every minute like it was your last.  In doing so, you will be able to reap the abundances of life’s CLOCK, if not…it will be time to change the battery..  So, keep on fighting! 10 Quotes and Phrases to live by... by none other than entrepreneur maverick... Mark Cuban...

"Always look for the fool in the deal. If you don't find one, it's you."

"There are no shortcuts. You have to work hard, and try to put yourself in a position where if luck strikes, you can see the opportunity and take advantage of it. I would also say it's hard not to fool yourself. Everyone tells you how they are going to be "special," but few do the work to get there. Do the work."

"Sure, ask about five of my former girlfriends that question… I went seven years without a vacation. I didn't even read a fiction book in that time. I was pretty focused."

"One problem people have is that they lie to themselves. You may think you are more talented then the next guy. Which is exactly what the next guy thinks as well.  Rarely is talent enough. You have to find ways to make yourself stand out. You do so by playing to your strengths and making people aware of those strengths. Always remember that no matter how many times you get shot down, you will get smarter, better and you only have to be right once to be successful."

"In your life, how do you define success? Success is being able to wake up every day with a smile on my face, looking forward to the day. Which is exactly how I described it when I was broke, sleeping on the floor."

"It doesn’t matter how many times you fail. It doesn’t matter how many times you almost get it right. No one is going to know or care about your failures, and neither should you. All you have to do is learn from them and those around you because… All that matters in business is that you get it right once. Then everyone can tell you how lucky you are."

The thrill of victory in business blows away the thrill of victory in sports. Business is a sport 24/7/365.

"It is called working your ass off. The difference is what you are willing to sacrifice. For every writer who wants balance in their life, there is a guy like me who gives up a lot to make their dreams come true. There is always going to be someone out there that knows they have to compensate for maybe having less talent with harder work and preparation."

"Do your homework and know your business better than anyone. Otherwise, someone who knows more and works harder will kick your ass."

"To retire by the age of 35 was my goal. I wasn't sure how I was going to get there though. I knew I would end up owning my own business someday, so I figured my challenge was to learn as much as anyone about all businesses. I believed that every job I took was really me getting paid to learn about a new industry. I spent as much time as I could, learning and reading everything about business I could get my hands on. I used to go into the library for hours and hours reading business books and magazines.

You need to see the value in taking risks...

“You need to see the value in taking risks, experimenting and even failing, a hustler is always trying new things. So bring your fearless mindset into the world of corporate America, which is generally governed by cautious and conservative Princes, intellectually tied to the past. What they perceive as chaos, you must see as the normal state of things. Change, turmoil and adversity do not faze you at the least; in fact, they bring out the best in you. This is your strategic advantage.”  - Robert Greene

By now, you have probably come to the conclusion that my mind frame is pretty much composed of 70% Strategy, 20% Tactics, 5% Philosophy, 3% Knowledge, and finally, 2% Business Sense.    Through the years, I have dedicated most of my life towards the study and application of war strategy and tactics.  While in the Marines, I could not help but to notice the fact that life itself, and all its amazing essence, can be mastered.  The key to it all, is understanding the fact that we all know nothing.  Once this little trait can be implemented into your mind, you will then be among the few to walk in its new found path.

As I transcend from the 2% Philosophical Hugo, I will now base my piece on strategy.  The key to separating yourself from your peers, or your competition, is to train your “MIND” to foresee your actions.   As the famous saying goes, “You reap what you sow”  The same rule applies to strategy.  You must be aware that every choice you make, rational or irrational, has a CONSEQUENCE!   Some good, some bad, but the truth of the matter is, that you must be aware.  With this in mind, I will relate the following sentence to war.   “How would you think....if you knew that if you made the wrong decision, you or your men would die?”

Therefore, one must have the courage to make calculations, based on strategy, technique, and most importantly faith.  Most of my colleagues will tell you that I’m probably one of the most fearless colleagues that they have ever met.  I guess that’s because I have made the decision early on in my life to accept fear as a way of life.  I only fear one person, and that is “GOD”, and maybe my mother.  But, you can’t count that...  Since both of them are on my side....well I think I might have a chance.

In conclusion, It’s another year, another week, and another day.  As I constantly receive emails and requests from friends and family to forward these little memoirs on to their colleagues. I have decided that I will dedicate the end of this year towards amplifying the material on this blog....   So hustle hard my friends, hustle hard!   Vereour Nasquam

What mind can penetrate his opponent's mind?...

An excerpt on mastering your opponent's mind from Lives of the Master Swordsmen, written by Makoto Sugawara...

...In all the martial arts, in all the performing arts and still more in all the forms of human behavior, a man’s postures or moves are based on the movements of his (invisible) mind… In the Kage Style of swordsmanship a swordsman reads his opponent’s mind through his postures or moves…

What mind can penetrate his opponents mind?  It is a mind that has been trained and cultivated to the point of detachment with perfect freedom.   It is as clear as a mirror that can reflect the motions within his opponent’s mind… When one stands face to face with his opponents, his mind must not be revealed in the form of moves.  Instead his mind should reflect his opponent’s mind like water reflecting the moon.

Through pain and suffering strives discipline….The Marine Corps Mind…

“The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!” - Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945

“There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion.”        Gen. William Thornson, U.S. Army

As a MARINE, I try to carry myself with the up most respect and discipline.   Honor, Courage, and Commitment are the three Character Traits that one must emulate in order to earn the title.  These principles need to be applied daily in life, and in business.  These traits are the foundation to my life!  If I could not call myself a Marine, I would just be considered a man with a second hand opinion.

What makes a Marine a Marine you ask?   Well, if you have to ask, then I have a number for you to call.   That number is to your local Marine Corps recruiter, and he has no problem answering any, and all of your questions. But if I had to summarize what it takes to be a Marine in one word, that word would be, “DISCIPLINE!”    And the only way to achieve this great attribute is through, “Pain and Suffering!”

As a young entrepreneur , I try to correlate all the principles above into my daily agenda, and in order to be successful at my profession, I have to maintain the following characteristic of "Self-discipline".   The Marines has given me the proper training to accomplish certain tasks and to adopt particular patterns of behavior, even though one would really rather be doing something else.  Thus, self-discipline is the assertion of willpower over more base desires, and is usually understood to be a synonym of 'self control'. Self-discipline is to some extent a substitute for motivation, when one uses reason to determine a best course of action that opposes one's desires. (wikipedia.com)

In addition, willpower, motivation, and self control, will assist you on building the foundation to your life’s JINGA Tower. And Lack of it, will force you to pull the wrong block, and therefore watch it come crashing down.   So in essence, stay motivated!   Do you think I enjoy waking up at 5am or earlier everyday to start my day? Of course I don’t... but, I know deep inside, that the early bird definitely CATCHES THE WORM!!!!  And I love WORMS!! Yummy!

In conclusion, stop procrastinating, and GET THE JOB DONE!   Focus on your goals, and try to formulate a plan that will assist you on achieving them.  Trust me; putting the plan on paper is the easy task.   It’s trying to accomplish it, that’s the hard part.  Therefore, stay motivated and have some SELF CONTROL!   Because when you do, life becomes that much easier!    I will end the following piece with the most motivating and powerful Hymn on the face of this earth......  The Marines Corps Hymn

From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
of United States Marine.

Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun;
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job--
The United States Marines.
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.

And now its time to celebrate the 236th Birthday of the most ELITE FIGHTING FORCE IN THE NATION, “THE UNITED STATES MARINES!” HAPPY Birthday DEVIL DOGS!!!!! OOOOORAAAAHHH “GET SOME!!””” VEREOUR NASQUAM

Love is the ignition that fires the soul...

“Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.“ -Samuel Ullman

As I dwindle upon another task-full week, and the hand ticks around my 16hr work clock.  I can’t help but to realize that life is a simplicity that needs to be harnessed with the simple element of enthusiasm. Enthusiasm and passion are to congruent factors that need to be implemented if one wants to live a happy and abundant life.  Now when I say abundance, I do NOT mean it in a monetarily fashion, but in a small yet powerful term known as HAPPINESS!  Sometimes in life, we all become blinded by the never ending rat race, that we forget to harness the most important three personal elements, or the three L’s …named after a shot of V6 Vodka that I took at a Gala event several weeks ago;

1.    Love
2.    Laughter
3.    Life

By now, most of you know that in order to be passionate about a “noun” person, place, or thing… or even an idea…..      one must use love as the ignition that fires the soul.  Once the soul has been ignited, all doubts become beliefs, and all obstacles become triumphs!!!!

Laughter on the other hand, is a gift that we must all be humble enough to embrace.  Over the many young years of studying “PEOPLE”, I have come to a theory known as the, “HUGO’ARIAN” Theory.   This theory states, that we all have a inner child inside of us.  For example, My inner child loves to joke around, play futbol or soccer, and chase girls around the playground.   Now through the years, nothing has changed, and till this day, I am still joking around, playing futbol, and chasing one particular woman around the city of Tampa.  Interesting parable…

The final personal element is known as “LIFE”…  Life is a simple element that we must all enjoy. I can guarantee that there will be times when you are down in your knees, it is those times that your faith will be tested.  Here is where the three “L” elements kick in… Look around you…is it really that bad? Is the situation a matter of life or death?  If not, which I can almost assure you that it’s not…stop complaining…and move on with your life!!!

As Samuel Ullman states, “Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm-wrinkles the soul.”. Therefore, have the inner strength to live enthusiastically.  If you have hard problems maintaining your energy levels, try the following;

1.    Try increasing your heart rate (i.e. Gym, running, outdoor activities, SEX)
2.    Coffee (my personal favorite besides sex)
3.    Try getting more rest (i.e. SLEEP, or even find time to take a 15min powernap) definitely something I need to do..
4.    Eat Healthy (STOP EATING BAD SHIT!!!!!)

In conclusion, by now you should know that I want all of you to live a prosperous, healthy, and abundant life. So be more enthusiastic, laugh and love more, and take the time to enjoy LIFE!!!!  Because if you don’t….time will just pass you bye!! Tick tock…tick tock…  VEREOUR NASQUAM!

Your attempt may fail, but never fail to make an attempt…

An inspirational read inspired by the following poster...

As my friend was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, continued by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a rope tied to their legs.  It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not.  My friend saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

“Well”, he said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and at that age, it’s enough to hold them.  As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away.  They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”  My friend was amazed.   These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.  The powerful and gigantic creature has limited its present abilities by the limitations of its past.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life holding onto a belief that we cannot do something simply because we failed at it once before?  How many of us refuse to attempt something new and challenging because of our so called MINDSET?

                                                            Lessons....

Your attempt may fail, but never fail to make an attempt…
                                                   &
CHOOSE not to accept the false boundaries and limitations created by the past…

The Four Aryan Truths...

“When we all start to focus on the power of love instead of the love of power, we will all one day live in peace”  - Johnny Pease

Damn,  this happens to be a very powerful quote, inspired by a very loving friend and colleague.  Thanks for the little motivation there Johnny P.  As John states, “If we all decided to focus on the power of love, instead of the love of power, we will then all one day live in peace.”  This statement definitely holds some accountability, and in the chess game of life, love can definitely be considered the “Queen”.

According to the great Buddha, upon his passing, he left behind only an outline for finding freedom and enlightenment in this world, known as the FOUR ARYAN TRUTHS:  They are as follows;

                The Nature of life is suffering.
                Suffering is caused by desire.
                Desire can be overcome.
                Desire is overcome by following the Eight-Fold Path.

What are Buddha’s Eight Fold Paths?  Well it consists of having Right Views; Right Desires; Right Speech; Right Conduct; Right Livelihood; Right Endeavors: Right Mindfulness; and last but not least; Right Meditation.  Furthermore, these paths will allow you to overcome the ultimate suffering, known as “Desire”, and in doing so, one will become enlightened.

Since the realities of life, seem to point out that the world we live in is very horrible and cruel.  One can only take the initiative to enlighten thyself first, before taking on the task of working on others.  Time and time again, just when I thought I have perfected my inner self, I come to the conclusion that I have a very long way to go.  According to Dr. Lung; “The fault of others is easy to see, but our own faults are often difficult to admit.  This is why a man can so easily separate his own faults from his neighbor’s faults the way a dishonest dicer hides his snake-eyes.”

In conclusion, as the great Buddha would state, “Seek not vanity, nor the enjoyment of love, nor lust.  Only a man who meditates on sincerity obtains final joy.”    Therefore, have the sincerity to know yourself first, before taking the time to judge others! ....Vereour Nasquam

The little kid inside of us...

 “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. “ -Pablo Picasso

One of the keys to becoming a great entrepreneur is having the ability see what others cannot see.  Vision is a key trait that one must have in order to succeed in life and in business.  Most of us tend to lose that vision while growing up, and it is that simple fact that makes some of us pawns in the game that we call life.

Whether we like to admit it or not, we all have a little kid inside of us.  There are times when I personally have to maintain my bearing (which happens to be most of the time) under duress and business negotiations, and according to the eyes watching me, it seems that my demeanor is as disciplined as a Marine Drill Instructor.

To tell you the truth, it is kind of hilarious and amusing to me, because deep inside.... I’m just a little kid that loves to play futbol…or “soccer ball” as they call it in the states!  I state this because of the fact that I still carry a soccer ball in the trunk of the car, just in case my business partner and I want to start juggling or play a pickup game. One of my close friends and mentors pointed that out yesterday, as he found it kind of amusing that we started juggling a soccer ball in the middle of the parking lot while waiting for someone that was 10 minutes late for a meeting.

Today’s piece of literature happens to be a little sporadic, but it may be because I’m running on about six hours of sleep in two days.   Most of my business associates can relate to this, because of the fact that we have been pretty busy with events and other ventures.  To make a long story short, every child is an artist, and it seems that my partners and I have never had the privilege to grow up.  But don’t estimate our silliness and kindness for weakness, because when the time comes….just like a light switch, we can change that little kid mind frame.

In conclusion, I personally try to discipline myself to write one of these motivational quotes every day.  Throughout the years I have had an amazing amount of feedback, and I want to thank all of you for taking the time to read these quotes.  I know there are times when these pieces make no sense at all, but there are also times when these little memoirs can have a significant impact on your life.  Hopefully, out of the millions of memoirs that this little kid posts...one of them has the ability to touch your heart!  The World Is Yours..  Vereour Nasquam!!
