All or nothing...

"A man who won't die for something is not fit to live." -Martin Luther King, Jr.
In society, it takes a lot for a person to stand their ground.  All great leaders make the decision early on in their lives to fight for what they believe in, even if they are going against the grain.  In life, one must definitely have the willpower to fight for what one strongly believes in.  From politics to religion, all great leaders know that its all or nothing....them against the world.  It takes a strong person to create and govern such a law, but it takes a LEADER to create a revolution.

With all great power and responsibility comes accountability.  “Because when the ship sinks, the captain knows he is going down with it.”  Therefore, a true leader knows that once the decision is made to go all in…….that the title “Leader” means if they fail, they are accepting all accountability and going down with it.

As Mr. King states, “A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.”  This statement definitely holds some accountability in my own personal life, as I have personally made the decision to “Live”.  It seems that society wants us all to conform to the norm.  It is this conformity that tends to drive me insane. For the simple fact that no one has the drive to step up and fight.

Life itself is a passion that we must all never forget to ignite.  There are times when your friends, colleagues, and even family members will test your beliefs.  It is those times that you have to dig deep, and fight!

In conclusion, I wish you all the best of luck on your week.  I hope this little memoir helps ignite your “passion” fuel for the week, as I am still in the process of igniting mine.  Vereour Nasquam
