There is nothing impossible to him who will try...

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy" -Winston Churchill

It’s the start of a new journey, another commencement, in the battlefield that we call life. I can honestly say that its been a very intriguing and humbling ride for this young lad. As days turn into nights, its time to put on our battle gear and prepare for one of the toughest years of our lives. From an economic standpoint, there is to much qualitative and quantitative data to support my preferential bias….but to keep this posting short, I will keep my argument at bay.

As most of you know, the world of an Entrepreneur is quite lonesome, as it takes a very tough and self reliant mindset to make it in these mean streets. From a business perspective, the 1st Quarter is one of the most intense and trying quarters out of the four, so I personally tend to lock my self up and strain away from friends, family, and any sort of leisurely activity. I call this the “1st Quarter Mode” effect.

Which leads me to the next transition of this 2am venting session….. turning sand into water…or making something out of nothing.

Robert Greene states it best….

…Every negative situation contains the possibility for something positive. An opportunity it is how you look at it that matters. Your lack of resources can be an advantage. Foreseeing you to be more inventive with the little that you have. Losing the battle can allow you to frame yourself as a sympathetic under dog. Do not let fears make you wait for a better moment or become conservative. If there are circumstances that you cannot control, make the best of them. It is the ultimate alchemy to transform all such negatives into advantages and power….

Simply put, we are ALL facing negative dogma in our lives, and in the world of business. Those external variables that we call life, tend to compound with every other trying challenge. But face it….that’s the game we call life. As the statement above states, “Do not let fears make you wait for a better moment or become conservative. If there are circumstances that you cannot control, MAKE THE BEST OF THEM!’

Furthermore, I wish nothing but the best for all my close colleagues, friends, family, and most importantly readers. As these postings have allowed me to share my triumphs and downfalls, ups and downs, wins and losses. Take these postings as a grain of salt if you will, and hopefully 2012 becomes your cup of H20!! 2. Good call with quoting Robert Greene. I would say anyone interested in business, even if its working a corporate 9-5 read 48 Laws of Power and Seduction. Those books will definitely increase your business moral and bring good enthusiasm to the plate.
